Add a Multiple Choice question or survey question.

What is Multiple Choice?

The Multiple Choice page can be used to present a question with up to four possible answers. A multiple choice question has one correct answer. A survey question has no correct answer.

Quick steps: how to create & edit a Multiple Choice page

  1. Open Authoring. Create or open a Learning Story, Assessment or Survey content type.

  2. Open the Editor.

  3. Add a Multiple Choice page. Select the + icon and choose Multiple Choice from the Add Page options.

  4. Edit the page. Select the page to view Page Options, then select Update to add and edit content.

    1. Enter a title and a question. Up to 24 and 144 characters respectively.

    2. Options. Change the Theme Colour and select the Question Type (Assessment or Survey).

    3. Add up to 4 Answers. Answers can have up to 100 Characters. If the question is of the Assessment type, select a single correct answer using the radio buttons.

    4. Create a Response (Optional). Select the Add Response button to provide user feedback for correct and/or incorrect answers.

    5. Save.

Options & Settings

Theme Colour. Select an alternative colour to override the theme default.

Question Type. An Assessment has a correct answer, whereas a Survey question does not have single correct answer.
