Create a text page with an image.

What is an Image + Text page?

Image + Text pages accommodate written content alongside an image. Use this page to present text and an image on one page.

Quick steps: how to create & edit an Image Text page

  1. Open Authoring. Create or open a Learning Story, Assessment or Survey content type.

  2. Open the Editor.

  3. Add an Image + Text page. Select the + icon and choose Image + Text from the Add Page options.

  4. Edit the Image + Text page. Select the page to view the Page Options, and select Update to add and edit content. The image should be at least 1136 x 758px (.svg, .jpg or .png format).

  5. Format text layout and style. Use the toolbar for basic text formatting, and toggle to Advanced Settings for further layout options.

Use Advanced Settings to tweak the page style. Modify any of the settings to make adjustments.

Background Colour To override the theme default, select an alternative background colour.

Image Size Choose the image size: Large (default), Medium, Small.

Image Fill Choose from how to apply the image: Fill Width/Height (default), Contain Width/Height (default), Contain Width, or Contain Height.

Image Effect (Non-Mobile) Choose an image effect for the desktop/tablet version of your story. Shadow, Framing, Framing with Shadow. The frame is white and the shadow is black.

Image Tilt (Non-Mobile) Tilt your image left or right.

If you choose custom colours for your text, those colours will also be used in Dark Mode. Only default font colours will auto-adjust in Dark Mode.
