What is an Audio + Text page?
The Audio + Text page accommodates a .mp3 audio files and related text. The page is perfect for short audio clips or podcast extracts.
Quick steps: how to create & edit an Audio + Text page
Open Authoring. Create or open a Learning Story, Assessment or Survey content type.
Open the Editor.
Add an Audio + Text page. Select the + icon and choose Audio + Text from the Add Page options.
Edit the Audio + Text page. Select the page to view the Page Options, and select Update to add and edit content. Upload a .mp3 audio file (no larger than 5MB), add an image, and enter your text. The image must be at least 1136 x 758px in size (.jpg or .png format).
Format text layout and style. Use the toolbar for basic text formatting, and toggle to Advanced Settings for further layout options.

Background Colour Select an alternative background colour to override the theme default.
Image Size Large (default), Medium, Small
Autoplay Audio By default, audio is auto-played as soon as the user opens the page. If you do not choose to autoplay, a play button will be added.
When the audio ends... Decide what happens at the end of the audio clip: Play again (default), Stop, Go to next page.
Image Effect (Non-Mobile) Choose a image effect for the desktop/tablet version of your story. Effects include adding a white frame and/or a dark shadow.
Image Tilt (Non-Mobile) Tilt your image left or right.
Audio + Text Tips and FAQs
What format and size should the audio file be?
Audio files must be in .mp3 format and no larger than 5MB.
How many audio files can I add to a story?
In stories, use audio files sparingly to avoid lagging. Use Streams if your content is audio-rich.
Why does my audio not autoplay?
First pages do not autoplay. If you choose to Autoplay the audio, a play icon will still show if it is the first page in your story. This is due to browser policies that prevent autoplay.
